We have decades of working with various orchid species.

Please contact us when you are ready to send seed or stems to give us the heads up!

We are happy to work with dry seed as well as green capsules!

Prices:

Initial Flasking Fee/Mother Plate: $25 per capsule

Either dry or green, the cost is the same. This includes sowing two (2) mother flasks, if there is sufficient seed.

When you send us seed we need to know the genus of the parent, especially the capsule parent and the total number of final flasks desired. We may adjust the number of mother flasks accordingly. The final number can be increased later, if desired, and germination was sufficient. We will update you with progress regularly and confirm final flask prior to final replates.

Cost of the mother flask is non-refundable. Seed should be as clean as possible to ensure no contamination. Our seed sterilization protocol is very thorough, but sometimes seed has debris or other contaminants that reduce success.

Assign your own codes to your crosses and send us only those codes to ensure confidentiality. We will not grow out or sell any of the material you send us. The genetics remain your property.

Final Flasks: Minimum of 3: $35 each

4 to 10 final flasks: $30 each

11 or more flasks-$28 each

If you are interested in large numbers of flask, contact us for rates.

A 30% deposit is required at time of final replate with the remainder due at shipping. The protocorms will be destroyed if the deposit is not made within 30 days of billing.

Shipping costs will be billed and added to invoice at time of shipping.

These terms are subject to change, however the new terms will only apply to new projects.

Stem Props: $20 initiation fee per stem

Final Stem Props: $12 each

Packing Seed:

Seed should not be packed in plastic! Coffee filters work really well-they allow any moisture to escape which helps prevent mold or other organisms from growing on the seed. This is true for both capsules and dry seed.

Stems should be wrapped in plastic wrap or a plastic bag taking care there is not a significant amount of free moisture. Stems should not dehydrate, but excess moisture can encourage growth of fungi or bacteria.

We recommend the fastest shipping method possible. USPS Priority Mail is the minimum service recommended, acknowledging that priority mail can be delayed several days.
